The Beginning...

Hello there!
My life started just two weeks ago, Sunday, June 26, 2011 @ 3:29pm!  My Mom was sent to the hospital on Friday (6/24/2011) after she saw Dr. Ward and discovered her blood pressure was 160/90. After being at the hospital for half the day, they sent us all home and told Mom to rest and to call the Dr. on Monday. We were all a little upset because my Mom and Dad were told that they weren't leaving the hospital until I was born so they were a little surprised that they were being sent home and I was still in Mommy's tummy! Mom rested ALL day on Sat., Auntie Brooke brought her movies and candy and Daddy took good care of her! As my Mom settled in for the night, she had NO idea what I had in store for her... at 1am, I decided to let Mom know I was ready to meet her and Dad! My Mom got up to use the bathroom (I thought it was funny to get her up multiple times during the night) and her water broke! Mom and Dad called Dr. Ward and she told us to head to the hospital again. They were very excited to find out that it was in fact time for me to make my appearance! After spending most of the day doing a lot of hard work, my Mom and I decided that 3:29pm would be the perfect time for my arrival. That was a moment we will never forget. I was soooo excited to see my Mom and Dad and they say that seeing me for the first time was the most amazing thing they have ever experienced. They laid me on Mom and we just stared at each other for a while.
right after I was born
I was 7lbs 12ozs, 19 3/4 inches long

My Mom and Dad didn't tell anyone that they were in the hospital so it was so fun for them to call everyone and tell them that I was here!!! Everyone was sooo excited to meet me! My Mom and Dad couldn't believe I was here, they were so happy, they couldn't even talk about me the first day without crying...(sheesh! :)) I loved meeting everyone for the first time, they all seem like very nice people. The first night I met Grandma and Grandpa Paek, Grammie and Papa, my Aunties Brooke, Laurel and Sarah, my Uncles Zak and Nick and my Great Uncle "The King". The next day I saw some of the same faces as the night before and Daddy's friend Aaron came to visit!  That night Dr. Ward came back to check on my Mom and I and did my circ. I was NOT happy about that. My Mom felt awful for me and stayed up and held me until almost 5am and then she woke up Daddy, I just wanted to snuggle, I cried when they put me down.
Tuesday came and it was time for us to leave the hospital, we left as early as we could! We all couldn't wait to get home. I wanted to see my house and find out what that loud thing was that I had been hearing for months! I love Clara (our dog) and she loves me but she is a little loud at times :-) We had a great first day at home, it was just Mom, Dad and I, it was nice to get to know each other a little better. Some of the things Mom and Dad learned about me are...

-I am a GREAT sleeper
-I love to eat
-I love to be held
-I love my Wubbanub

As long as they feed me, I make things pretty easy for them!

I was a little jaundice so I had to wear a biliblanket for a few days but was able to come off of it to enjoy my first 4th of July! My levels are great now so I don't have to wear that silly thing anymore!

We are all adjusting well to our new life together, I love my Mom and Dad and they are head over heels in love with me!

Here are a few pictures from my first 2 weeks of life!
